….well, Shakespeare got it wrong. Job classification can be everything when it comes to mitigating wage/hour claim risk.
A best practice is to annually review all job descriptions to ensure FLSA compliance. Is your Administrative Assistant exempt or non-exempt? Unless the content of your job descriptions is accurate you will struggle to correctly classify the role. It is the tasks performed on the job, not the job title alone, that determine exempt vs. non-exempt employment status.
